Requires Node.js 24 and pnpm 11. Build from source, then load the folder for your browser.
git clone https://github.com/oe/MyWebrequest.git
cd MyWebrequest
pnpm install --frozen-lockfile
pnpm build:browsersChrome: open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and load dist/chrome as an unpacked extension. For Edge, use edge://extensions and dist/edge.
Firefox: open about:debugging → This Firefox → Load Temporary Add-on, then select dist/firefox/manifest.json. Temporary installs are removed when Firefox restarts.
Enter two addresses
Choose Create redirect and enter the original and destination URLs. A rule is generated automatically; it only affects opening that exact page, including query parameters.
Test or adjust
Choose only this URL, or all pages on the original host when only the hostname differs. Host replacement preserves paths and query parameters, with the original protocol and port and no subdomains. Test additional URLs to check the scope. Use Edit URL redirect to adjust a saved rule; changes are applied to a draft before saving.
Save the rule
New rules have Enabled on by default. Save to apply the rule and grant any required site access. Turn Enabled off before saving if you want to keep the rule without applying it.
Rules stay in your browser. There is no analytics code and no remote service handling your rules.
