Resolve common matching, permission, and runtime issues.
A rule does not run
Check that the global pause is off, the rule is enabled, its fields are valid, and the browser granted the listed host access.
Use Test rule on the exact URL, then inspect resource type and initiator domain. A matching URL alone may not satisfy every condition.
Import or runtime errors
Preview imports before applying them. Checksum failures mean the backup changed or is incomplete.
If browser rules drift from saved state, reopening the manager triggers reconciliation. Export a backup before making a large change.
Private by default
Rules stay in your browser. There is no analytics code and no remote service handling your rules.
